This is a fantastic resource. I used it last year with a mixed ability Year 7 and this year I am using it with a top set Year 7. I have adapted parts of it to suit my groups. The number of different activities that combine with the reading enable students to think about the characters and their relationships in depth. I was observed recently and received really good feedback for the lesson that I did which involved students writing an empathetic letter as Tommo to Charlie and levelling their work. Thanks very much for sharing this scheme.
