Find out how a school in Manchester has taken CPD to a new level At Ashton on Mersey School in Manchester, PE teacher Caroline Blakey is being coached as part of the school's routine professional development cycle. In addition the coach, director of sport Aidan Moloney, is being coached on his More… technique by headteacher Vicky Beer. Watch the coaching process from initial planning stages to the lesson observation. Aidan provides feedback on Caroline's teaching practice, while Vicky comments on Aidan's coaching style. Caroline, who is undertaking a new project at the school, also seeks advice from mentor Richard Middlebrook; watch as she successfully implements the guidance she's received. The viewpoints of both Richard and Caroline are discussed, in addition to the key components required for a successful mentoring session
