Overall rating 5 out of 55 (2 ratings)

This is a game loosely based on the gameshow classic "Jeopardy".At first, students have to form groups. Whoever starts, chooses a number in a specific category from the grid and then has to pronounce what is written on the slide (numbers are hyperlinked to slides). If done so correctly, th More… More…e according number of points will go to this group. The words feature distinctive German sounds, especially those difficult for English learners of German, as well as tounge twisters and commonly mispronounced words. This is an easier version of the original, designed for Years 7 and 8.

This is an entertaining, elegant and efficient way of pronunciation practice including a competetive element. The examples in each category are well chosen and include typical difficulties for learners of German. I like the sense of humour, too! Thank you for sharing this resource.
