These are punctuation superheroes I made to use in the Reception Class and in Year 1 in particular. The children love using these when writing and each character has an action which is the same as the Kung Fu punctuation action. The poster versions are basically the large versions to print off. Pri More…nt off each character separately. I put the reminder card on the tables when the children write. Boys in particular love using these. I am making some other character, for example one for speech marks, which should be useful for Year 2.

Just wondering if you could convert these files into PDF Acrobat format? I haven't got Publisher. Thanks!

These are amazing!!!! I am a PGCE student teaching reception and year 1 (6 year one boys in the class who do not engage with writing at all) I am doing superhero writing in an attempt to engage them more in tehir writing and these are perfect!! I will definitley be using them next week. There is a distinct lack of capital finger spaces and full stops in their writing - but not after using these I am sure. thank you for sharing.
