Sheets showing the same images as included in the DT SEN dictionary stickers in my resources but used for word recognition practice to compound word understanding and repetition.
The sheet including the images and words can be used as small cards for instant recording of the word when usedin cl More…ass demonstrations or discussions or can be used as straight forward revision of the words by repetition.
This can then be tested by the use of the second sheet in PDF which has had the words blanked out (I know they can be read on the file but when printed it covers them sufficiently). Again this can beduring class or as a revision aid.
Developed to consolidate the visual recognition of the words for a deaf student who needs to write down the words in tests but cannot for obvious reasons sound out the words to himself for help in spelling. The student I have has found this helpful as he knew the tool, he knew its purpose but just could not recall the word.
