Overall rating 4 out of 54 (3 ratings)

Last updated 18 March 2013, created 12 November 2011, viewed 978

Students "update their facebook" in the role of either Romeo or Juliet according to their new feelings. Obviously this format would work for any character in any play/story. See also Hamlet and Ophelia on Facebook lesson.

Interesting resource that engages students in approaching Shakespeare from the point of view of technology. Thank you !

A very useful resource which uses new social media effectively in order to engage students' interest. This idea could be used for other texts too. An imaginative and novel idea. Thank you.

Could be useful but needs a careful eye on what task is needed. As mainstream task - effective and creates questions which Teachers may not think of.
