Powerpoint guiding pupils through a large variety of different ways of opening sentences and varying sentences in such a way which also encourages the use of complex sentences.
Can be used by giving pupils 'boring' sentences to rewrite in each of the formats modelled.

This is great. I'm going to get them to play a game with this. I've printed them as cards. They'll do one sentence, then pass on the card to the next person.
This is useful as a starting point for devising lessons - have adapted it though for teaching so that the students engage with it better than just looking at PPT and attempting their own sentences.
I have used this loads of times and it really helps learners to understand about sentence structure.
