A stimulus for the Personal Writing Fiction GCSE coursework. This work defines and models diary entries using the example of Anne Frank. It directs students to write a diary entry from the main characters of The Shawshank Redemption, either Andy or Red’s, perspective.

Great resource guiding students through a diary entry. This resource would need to be incorporated into a unit of work on The Shawshank Redemption and students would need to see the film to complete the task. Thanks for sharing this resource.
