At last I have found what I have been looking for- not being an artist like!!! This will be fab for the children to make symmetrical patterns on and also for them to use the sections of the shield to tell the story of St George (St Georges day tomorrow!) in pictures. Phew! Useful for KS2 I think- to design their own coat of arms.

Shield resource. a really good resource. Used it with my class and told them to put what is important/special to them in each section. Worked well.
