Silly Sentences - Grammar Activity

This activity involves students collaborating in writing silly sentences. They are directed by the teacher to write a word that fits a particular part of speech within the sentence under construction. Once each word is written, they hide that word and then pass on to their neighbour who writes th More…e next word in the sentence. The final finished sentence is then read to the class. The main purpose is laughter and learning about parts of speech.
