Very clear and simple language which children can understand. I am in favour of using the correct mathematical terms. However, my learning objective is to enable the children to explore and become familiar with the physical properties of the shapes. The word 'vertices' ( an unfamiliar word) will then be introduced as one that 'only the boys and girls in the 'big' school know'. This usually guarantees that my infants will use it!<br />
