A smartboard file can be used to introduce the children to the snakes and ladders problem. This is linked to unit A1 in maths for year 2. It finishes with a traffic light self assessment where the children can put either a mark or their name in the traffic light to show how they felt they got on i More…n the lesson. I usually put the children's names so they just have to drag their name to wherever they want to put it.
