I made this PPT / Doc for the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton. We looked at the images and discussed -names -titles -similarities and differences between royal families eg divorce, commoner as future queen, succession etc -relations (Prince Philip and Reina Sofia are both Greek ro More…yalty) -sporting links (Iñaki Urdargarin / Zara Philips etc) and much more! Doc was for a naming activity and also to see the family tree and look at links with other royal families. we then watched clips of the weddings of the Infantas and Principe Felipe on Youtube.

Good way to expand studies of modern foreign languages for pupils and useful to comapre royal familes from different countries.
