A speaking and listening unit, written for Y8, focussing on the skills needed for productive group work & a formal presentation. The theme of the topic is The Olympics. Some of the resources have been adapted from the old DfE Literacy Unit, Going for Gold.
Also, it's written in a weekly forma More…t instead of a traditional lesson format, as my school is moving towards that. Meaning, that the activities are grouped together in weeks for 3 lessons per week. The idea is to encourage teachers to adapt to suit their own class. It should be fairly obvious where the lessons are.
