As a french native myself, I am "gobsmaked" about Missjennie's review...."faire de la danse" is correct, as is "aller danser" and "danser"!!! En tout cas, merci beaucoup s.barfoot pour toutes ces activites...

Jennie : if you are a member of a dance club, you definitely can say "je fais de la danse tel ou tel jour"... I don't see where is the mistake...

Very interesting stuff.. although I have been through one of the document which contains a mistake. As a french native, I was gobsmacked to find the expression " faire de la danse" which does not make any sense in French. We would rather say " Aller danser ( go to dance ) or simply danser" Such a shame to find a mistake in a well constructed document ! Jennie
