I think the Potion Mixing and Wizards are very useful and my students would really enjoy. However I like some others would like some guidance on how to use the other two.

Love the gold mine. To play teh gold mine you have to get the kids t enter the correct formula to do the division or multiplication. When they get it right, the cells are changed into a gold bar. WONDERFUL. STill working on figuring out some of the others though. :-)

Instructions needed. I wasn't to clear on how to play these ggames.
I don't think the children will know what to do either!
Instructions needed to go with games.

A result at last!. Thank you so much! I have searched the web for something that will appeal to my year 5 class and spark their interest in spreadsheets. This will certainly do the trick. The gold mine in particular will give them valuable formula practice.

Help!. For the Wizards Challenge it is all to do with cell referencing - The students have to type the cell reference into each cell. - I showed mine how to use the fill handle to save time.
I cant figure the Maestro Magical Maths Machine.
For the potions mixing one they just have to copy the given formula, replacing the ingredients in the formula with the correct number from the ingredients lists.

Help needed. I would really like to be able to use these (and other) spreadsheet resources but I am not versed in the procedures at all. Although I understand formulae could you please explain how to use your resources as lessons? What are the tasks and are they marked automatically? Thank you.

Great, I think. I liked the potion mixing factory and the goldmine. I'm new to spreadsheets and am unsure what has to be done in the other two games. Is it possible to have an explanation?
