In this episode, we talk everything from A-level resources to tracking pupils’ progress, with bucket loads of rich tasks thrown in for good measure. More importantly, we discuss how best to use these rich tasks in the classroom, with pupils of all ages and abilities. Our general theme is the best wa More…ys to introduce algebra to students, and what to avoid. Alison Kiddle, from NRICH, was a fantastic guest as left me with lots of problems to keep my brain ticking over. Another interesting and useful Podcast Craig well done. I have heard of NRICH but always thought they were mainly puzzles but how wrong I was. I will definitely be using some of the NRICH tasks mentioned and be looking on the website for some more for the future. Maybe you could discuss some ideas to add a bit of Christmas spice to maths lessons or people could suggest some nice end of term activities to do on your next podcast. Thanks again!
