This is a brilliant tarsia on factorising quadratics which have a negative value for 'a'. What is nice is that students could begin by multiplying out the quadratics as a starter and then they can mess it up and try to do it by factorising as a plenary. This would be an excellent resource to use to help teach this topic and really allows you to listen into the conversations which students are having. Thank you for sharing.
