I normally start the lesson with the PowerPoint presentation on the IWB and as we go over the slides and explain different senses I stop at the sense of taste slide and do a tasting session with the kids (salted crisps, coffee, lemon and chocolate). They have a bit of each of the foods and have to describe them/identify them. We then move on to the worksheets and if there is additional time left we play some of the Interactive Games from the last slide.
