In ‘Peer Observation with Bayley’, John works with two Year 3 teachers, Sarah and recent NQT Sophia, on the style of their literacy lessons.

Sarah notices that during Sophia's lesson, some children are distracted during lengthy feedback sessions and proposes talk par More…tners to improve focus and maintain flow.

In Sarah's lesson, Sophia is impressed by the way the children are encouraged to come up with success criteria before embarking on a piece of work. Having found the experience valuable, Sophia is keen to put the new ideas into practice and to continue observations.
