In 'Primary Framework', Greenside Primary School, Tameside, has succeeded in improving Maths SAT results over the past year by introducing a whole school approach to the subject.

Teachers now include maths in the school day with daily mental and oral starters, maths asse More…mblies, and giant counting games in the playground.

Teachers and SMT talk about the challenges faced throughout the implementation of the framework and the benefits of working in a more flexible, cross-curricular way with the subject.
