’Primary Languages’ looks at how primaries will be required to introduce a language to the curriculum and one school’s efforts.

Almeley Primary, in rural Herefordshire, is delivering French despite having fewer than 80 pupils. With only GCSE French as her language backgr More…ound, teacher, Alex Hallinan, has developed her language skills through courses and personal study and is teaching Year 4 -6s.

Follow Alex and her class through a French lesson, talking about the school and the people within it, including songs, a language refresher, sentence work and group work.

Useful to see how another teacher delivers their language teaching. Lots of ideas! Some great activities for teaching French.

This is a wonderful resource for increasing people's confidence and then the inclusion of a worksheet is very useful.
