Telling Time

Overall rating 4 out of 54.5 (6 ratings)

Last updated 16 May 2013, created 21 January 2012, viewed 2,473

Starts with revision from 1-30, then gradually increasing their knowledge up to 60. Moving on to say o'clock, quarter past, half past, quarter to with a variety of games, activities and riddles! I got the students to spot the pattern, and made individual clocks out of attached doc. Great AFL activit More…y for plenary (teacher says a time, then they do it and show it using clocks).

I adore the powerpoint! The riddle was spectacular and I love how you make it relatable to the students. I really loved the clock faces! I was trying to make my own and fialing horribly! Merci beaucoup!!!

this is a great activity, but could you give the answers to the riddles and maybe the rules for the number games? (the ones with all the colours) Thanks!
