Hunger Games This is a SoW I have written for the Hunger Games, mainly because I love the book and would really like the opportunity to teach it to a class. Please bear in mind that I am a PGCE student and this is the first SoW I have ever written. I thought it might be useful, nevertheless, as More… there is very little material out there for teaching this novel. I've planned it over six weeks and built in a variety of assessment outcomes for reading, writing and S&L. Feedback very welcome!

These are great but where are lessons 11, 12 and 13? Please put them up - they are all great! xXx

An absolutely fantastic scheme and an amazing first attempt at a SOW! I would suggest that where teacher reading takes place, this is replaced by students reading a paragraph at a time (selected by the teacher) as this then fits in to the literacy element of the English/OFSTED framework.
