Board Game based on the popular book. Pupils use counters to move around the board and collect ’ Yummy’ tokens for healthy treats and ‘Yucky’ tokens for unhealthy ones. Plenty of opportunity for developing language and a maths element at the end of the game. Also on the board are pictures d More…epicting the life cycle of a butterfly, giving opportunity for further discussion. Full instructions included. Board needs to be printed A3 or ‘blown up’ to A3 size using a colour photocopier.

AWESOME activity, I teach a language and this will be great to begin my teaching into healthy eating and unhealthy eating with the other language vocabulary........thank you for sharing.

Just one small criticism - I like the board but instead of the cards 'Yummy' and 'Yucky' I will make cards which give the message, 'eat lots of ', 'eat less of'.
