Three Bags of Gold (Christmas Assembly)

Overall rating 5 out of 55 (3 ratings)

Last updated 12 June 2013, created 31 October 2011, viewed 5,688

This story and the accompanying song tell the story of Saint Nicholas, the legendary gift giver. He gave his wealth away in the form of gifts to those in need, especially children. The assembly has key questions, an optional prayer and information about St Nicholas. There is a full version of the More… song: Hearts of Gold. There is also an instrumental version of the song that can be used to provide a backing track for the children's singing.

I discovered this just as I was in the middle of preparing a special 'St. Nicholas' lesson. Really useful - thank you!
