I used this with Y1 children to get them thinking about famous characters. They then went on to write their own riddles which made a great interactive display. The class loved drawing the settings according to the descriptions and liked the idea that some of them could have been for a few differe More…nt fairy tales. The Little Red Hen resources the children wrote their own version of the story and made them into a mini book. The higher achievers had a muddled up version and had to order the pictures first. The wordbank helped those who struggled with writing.
