Raphael is a dumpsite boy in a third-world country. He spends his days wading through mountains of steaming trash, sifting it, sorting it, breathing it, sleeping next to it. Then one unlucky-lucky day, Raphael's world turns upside down. A small leather bag falls into his hands. It's a bag More… of clues. It's a bag of hope. It's a bag that will change everything. The film adaptation of Trash directed by Stephen Daldry is due for release in 2015.

'Trash' is a brilliant book. I am really excited to be doing it next year with my Year 9 classes. Thanks for this great teaching notes booklet - very useful!
