Last updated 01 May 2013, created 24 March 2011, viewed 10,434

A lesson plan and teaching resources used for an observation lesson on GCSE trigonometry. The lesson takes about 2 hours if you have a mid to high ability group. A very high ability group could possibly complete the lesson in 1 hour. The deciding factor is how much time you want to give up to the More… mathematical discussion. Pupil assessment and exam question worksheets are included for teaching the lesson.

Fantastic resources thank you! One very tiny error in your working of card H where it says g/Tan50 instead of 20/Tan50 but that's easily sorted. A lot of effort has obviously gone into making this lesson and these resources so thank you very much for sharing them!

Awesome lesson plan to refer to as a pre-service teacher. Great tool for engaging students (collective memory) activity. Thank you!
