I know there are a few of these lesson plans floating about, but I( adapted them quite heavily so thought I'd make them available. Loads of ways to take this - we covered a bit of history, numerical patterns, money and inflation. The PNC's Christmas Price Index website was great as well.

I have a class of very able year 6s and they will love this, while it'll stretch them too. You can easily adapt this for l/a students.

Spot on and Clever. Will really get my year 8's thinking and they will enjoy doing the activity hopefully too! There's even a bit at the end for the smart ones who race through the first part!
