Two lessons on Euthanasia

Overall rating 4 out of 54.1 (13 ratings)

I tried to put this into one lesson but found it was too much for my mixed ability students so I separated it into two. The second lesson being the committee and related articles exercises. I laminated the weighing up the arguments sheet as they can also be used for abortion, morals, heaven and hell beliefs, etc, etc, etc Enjoy.

In light of slide two, Euthanasia cannot be split like it is EUTHA = good and NASIA =death. This is totally incorrect. Euthanasia comes from the Greek, EU meaning well/good and THANATOS meaning death. To tell pupils this is what it means is wrong and the slide should be changed accordingly. Sorry.
