Put the ‘Individual States Outlines’ around the walls and corridors. In pairs, chn find the states and identify where they are on the ‘USA State Outline Map’. Back in class, they use the ‘States and Abbreviations’ sheet to identify the correct abbreviations for these states. They are then given a co More…py of the ‘Outline Map’ for themselves which they label and create a key for. To top of the lesson, they are introduced to the ‘Fifty Nifty’ song which is linked to Teacher Tube.
