A lesson to prepare students for a coming writing assessment on the topic of hobbies and in particular cinema/TV. Students work in small groups (2/3) and I give only 1 version of the text per group (depending on ability). They do the reading work and then the analysis of the level. I then ask them t More…o join with another group and to explain their findings to each other. Great to understand what is needed to reach levels 4 / 5 / 6 and 7. (used with Y9 top). They can then use the peer assessment sheet for their own assessment.
