The welcome booklet is given to children when they come to visit the Foundation classes in the Summer term, prior to starting our school in September. The children take the booklet home to share with parents over the summer holiday. I've taken out any photographs of children and replaced these with text boxes showing what photograph would have been there. We also give children a scrap book to fill over the summer holidays. We stick the 'sheet for scrapbook' on the inside cover, to give parents ideas of what kind of things the children could draw, write or stick into the book.

Some very useable ideas that I can use for a slimmed down version - thank you so much for sharing!

Lovely resource! Might be a bit expensive to print out 1 per child, but would be great to laminate a few class copies for sharing.
