Last updated 08 February 2012, created 08 February 2012, viewed 458

Sutton Hoo is a series of large mounds in East Anglia. In 1939 a local archaeologist excavated the biggest mound and found an Anglo-Saxon ship buried there. The ship is believed to have belonged to an Anglo-Saxon King due to the wonderful artefacts found during the excavation. This clip has subtitles available in Flash.
