What the Dickens: What a character!

In the first lesson, pupils will gain an understanding of Charles Dickens’ significance as one of Britain’s most important and best loved authors. Students will learn about his ability to create and develop complex, larger-than-life characters. They will begin developing their own characters to feat More…ure in their competition entry. This lesson is supported by a film from award-winning teen-fiction writer, Meg Rosoff.
