Someone else on here had the brilliant idea of 'When Dr Who met Handel' which inspired me to make up a few more (not only composers but also a few jazz / pop artists, fitting in with black history month and 12 bar blues)
My year 10 class produced some amazing powerpoint presentations - it forced them to research the genres / eras / composers / artists (well, ok they probably looked on wikipedia!) and then create some fantastically funny stories for homework!
Hope some of you find it similarly useful for a homework or cover lesson etc :-)
