Writing to Argue

Overall rating 3 out of 53.5 (6 ratings)

I made the analogy of a 'recipe' for writing to argue, as exam revision for year 11. The response to this was generally quite good, so here is the powerpoint I used to guide the lesson. I must add that I could have made more of the powerpoint/analogy but as an initial idea I hope you can use the recipe idea. Please use as you wish.

This is great: simple, but clear. I'll be using it!

Writing to argue. Quite useful - essential elements covered but a little too much text in the presentation - key error in a powerpoint
