I am going back into teaching the whole curriculum after 9 years out of the classroom and 13 years only focussing on literacy and numeracy… as you can imagine I was daunted and just needed a 'starting point'. How wonderful to find these detailed plans that I can adapt - thank you!

Outstanding!. These plans are so simple to read / follow but they contain lots of detail. Absolutely brilliant work! We are looking to have topic based teaching at school and these plans look great to work with.

Fabulous. I would just like to thank you so much for being willing to share your planning with everyone. It has been a huge help to me as I am moving back into Year 1 and have never planned continuous provision before. This planning is clear and detailed and must have taken you a long time to do, so thank you again!

'This is me' topic planning. Thank you so much for sharing all your excellent planning work. I'm moving from year 3 & 4 to year 1. This has really helped me to focus on the need for continuous provision, the transition from EYFS and moving on to NC.

planning. Hi I'm setting up my new classroom with continuous provision. Did you run your literacy and numeracy at the same time these weeks? We have to do a week based on our class animal (bear) but then I could carry on with your style of planning. Thanks

very interesting and well presented but would like to know....... Do you also have to provide medium term plans for science and geography and art?Or do these replace them?If you do what do they look like? I would also be really interseted to see your whole timetable and see how this fits in. Do you do lit and maths every morning? What about phonics and guided reading?
