Chn have the opportunity to hear, read & respond to a range of poems from two contrasting writers. They write & perform their own free verse poems, inspired by those they have read. By adapting & borrowing elements they develop a style of their own.

Thanks for sharing- Used it this term. I initially engaged them with John Agard's poem 'Jump up' which links with Valerie Bloom very nicely.
