The PowerPoint lesson will help pupils to achieve these outcomes:
subtract one number up to 20 from another
understand and use the – and = signs
understand the key words – minus, take, take away, subtract, find the difference, how much more, how much less
understand that subtraction is the inverse of addition
use subtraction to solve real-life number problems
