Students are required to find mean, median, mode and range both from lists of data and from frequency tables. The last questions students need to think about and justify why a mean, median and range cannot be found.

Thanks for sharing--it has just the right number of questions for averages from a table without using grouped frequencies for my class to use.

A nice little review worksheet on averages, both from lists and frequency tables. Could be used as a plenary, or starter to a following lesson. I particularly like the last "trick" question.
