Bugsy Malone - Year 6 musical / production / play inspired by the movie

Hours of blood, sweat and tears went into this production so I am hoping to save someone this effort! This fantastic production (inspired by Bugsy Malone the movie) was written for a cast of around 50-60 (two form entry but not everyone wanted an acting role).

Parts can be scaled up or down depending on how many children you have. The running time was around 1hr 15mins. It got lots of laughs and was really impressive. The children loved wearing suits and pretending to be gangsters…I can’t wait to do this production again in a couple of years. We hope this helps other Year 6 teachers out there!
