So many times I have seen CIRCLE THEOREMS taught exclusively in a very descriptive, note-taking way. While examples and demonstrations are important to this topic, I wanted a nice EASY, interesting way to get students ENGAGED with what they are doing. I developed this investigation worksheet so students could spend a lesson reviewing KEY WORDS, drawing lines and shapes, MEASURING angles and coming up with their own CONNECTIONS. It's a really great way to get students understanding what Circle Theorems ARE before you open up Geogebra!

The worksheet has clear step-by-step instructions telling students exactly what to do for each circle theorem. The first circle they are given is highly scaffolded, and each theorem has additional circles with less scaffolding so pupils can test out their theories and seek for special cases.

The extra worksheet also provides practise and extension so that your class can attempt to apply the theorems they have been investigating!
