Aqueducts are the subject of two session’s work. Children research aqueducts, understanding their purpose and also their construction.

They then begin to plan to make their own working model of an aqueduct, looking at the available materials.

A great link between History and D.T. A detailed lesson plan to support children in using their research to plan and design their own aqueduct.

A great and fun activity supplied with lots of background information but most importantly, teacher guidance via the lesson plan.
