One of nine posters in my Frankenstein series, this features the cottagers: The DeLacey Family. Felix and Agatha and their blind father are surrounded by quotes and comments that will help revision of the book Frankenstein for the English Literature GCSE.
Individual revision booklets for students can be produced in A5, while A4 prints are ideal for general classroom use. If you wish to use them for display, they come out well in A3.
The posters can be used in a number of different ways - these being just some of them:
- Blank out areas of the,poster (in Powerpoint or with good old-fashioned white-out and a photocopier) and ask students to fill in the blanks
- Ask students to link each of the quotes and comments to a given theme and explain why that quote is significant
- Use the ‘picture only’ file to see what they come up with first before going through the complete one
- Ask students to make their own poster for other characters and/or texts
