This resource has been designed for students working towards Functional Skills Maths qualifications at Entry Level 2 (Edexcel-Pearson, NCFE, City and Guilds, NOCN and Open Awards). It contains an age-appropriate, 120-slide PowerPoint lesson and a 35-page workbook on fractions - Outcome 10: Recognise simple fractions (halves, quarters and tenths) of whole numbers and shapes.

It also contains links to two videos on fractions and examination questions on fractions. It is ideal for introducing the fraction component of the Entry Level 2 specification and for revision purposes.
Workbook
The 35-page workbook contains 5 information pages, 22 worksheets, 2 progress checks and a certificate of achievement. Tasks and activities have been designed to help pupils to achieve the above outcomes.

Hi there, Apologies but I am not sure how else to contact you? I have purchased and downloaded this resource, but the powerpoint lesson keeps opening up blank? Am I doing something wrong?
An excellent resource that has saved me so many hours of planning and resource making!! Fantastic workbook and PowerPoints that are totally age appropriate. It is so hard to find Functional skills resources that are aimed at the right age levels and give practical demonstrations and reinforces learning the skill. I really appreciate the amount of work that has gone into this resource. It is a life saver for a new starter teaching adult skills. The layout and content is perfect for adult learners and I like the fact that it has a booklet to go with the PPT which will save me a lot of time. I like that the concepts are broken down logically and that there is plenty of practising of each skill to drill the concepts. It is often difficult to find resources that are not geared up for children and this resource has taught me some skills too. I will certainly buy again from this seller.
