A game to help children practice and apply their grammar, punctuation & spelling skills. in the style of ‘truth or dare?’ the children either pick a ‘truth’ card (cards with a GPS term written on each one and the children have to explain what they mean and give in an example sentence) or a ‘dare’ card.
The children love playing this game in class and at our Y6 GPS booster club.
I have designed these to be used at my school where we say our ‘Values verse’ during assembly each day, so please adapt those cards to suit yours and things relevant to your class/school which will engage the children (maybe a favourite song of the class?).
