In this lesson, students will learn about Queen Victoria through her diary, videos and reading a biography. They will then ‘hot seat’ someone from the class as Queen Victoria to pose their own questions.
Following this, they will answer comprehension questions on her biography and complete true/false questions using what they have learnt. Finally, they will be tasked to write a diary entry as Queen Victoria herself.
All resources for this lesson are provided.
This lesson is intended for KS2 but can easily be modified to suit KS3.
