After my class were a bit confused with writing hypotheses, I put the attached lesson and worksheet together. This scaffolded the thinking process behind writing a hypothesis, to ensure they include everything they need for the full 3 marks, as this type of question comes up every year! It was a hit, and students felt far more confident afterwards.

The lesson includes a crossword starter, powerpoint, worksheet for students and a printable answer sheet. So this worksheet could be used as consolidation HL instead of a lesson!

Exam scenarios taken from AQA papers, questions and resources created by myself.
